About
Built by a buyer, for buyers.
TSUGU is run by Motoki Arai, founder and CEO of System Solutions Inc. in Tokyo. He is a hands-on engineer who builds AI agents, cloud infrastructure and web systems for corporate clients, and teaches AI and cloud development on Udemy to more than 6,000 students.
He is also, right now, buying Japanese small businesses for his own company. That search is where TSUGU comes from. Listings that hide the owner’s pay. Broker fees that appear after the first call. Financials shaped by tax rules rather than by what the business earns. Every one of those lessons became a line in the deal report.
Japan has more than a million business owners over seventy with no successor. Many of their companies are good, profitable and cheap. What is missing is a way for someone outside Japan to see them clearly. That is the whole job.
How we work
We only work for the buyer.
We never represent the seller in the same deal, and we tell you when a partner broker does.
Companies already for sale.
We do not cold-call owners. Sellers are on marketplaces or with brokers and accountants who know they want to sell.
Nothing copied.
We do not republish listings. When a match needs a non-disclosure agreement, you sign it and we handle the exchange.
Every adjustment shown.
Each line between the listed profit and true earnings is in the report with a reason, so you can disagree with it.
A person checks every number.
The AI reads Japanese documents fast. The founder reads the result before you do.
Fees disclosed up front.
Where a licensed intermediary must be involved, we say so and we say what they charge.
